Shopping Malls in Yangon


  • Blazon Shopping Centre

Opened in the year 2000, this 3-floor mall features exclusive brand stores like Adidas, Esprit, Guess, Wacoal, Shiseido, and so on. This was the first shopping mall in Yangon to offer such brands. You must visit this mall on Myanmar tour packages.

  • Yuzana Plaza

A popular shopping spot for local residents, the plaza is more like an old mall than a traditional market. On the ground floor, there are many wholesale shops, selling packaged foods, drinks, and even pets. The shops on the top floor sell local products like fashions, appliances and so on.

This place is the best for those who prefer a comfortable shopping mall in Yangon to experience the tradition of Yangon. Located next to the Bogyoke Aung San Market, this air-conditioned mall houses a number of retail outlets, making it a good place to shop for fashion items for men and women. Here, one can find KSL, Uncle Sam, and Heart Rock Cafe.

Formerly known as Scott Market, named for City Commissioner C. Scott, it was renamed to honor General Aung San. This is the most popular and famous local market in Yangon. The large colonial building was built in 1926 and houses some 1641 stores that sell everything you could want, including lacquerware, handicrafts, wood and ivory carvings, silverware, tapestries, brass, clothing, silk and cotton fabrics, hardware, food, etc.

Named for its location in Yangon, the premier home of the 8th City Mart Supermarket, a bakery and beauty salon. On both levels, there are many stores and boutiques that sell clothes, shoes, bags, suitcases, cosmetics, and fabrics.

  • Ocean Super Centre

For a unique shopping experience, this destination is the best place to do shopping in Yangon. The Ocean Super Center offers the widest range of products for buyers. Items to be purchased here include laptops and computers, home appliances, furniture, household utensils, fashion clothing and accessories, toys, and sports equipment. The cafes and restaurants in the downtown food court offer different types of Asian and Western dishes.

  • Sein Gay Har Super Centre

Sein Gay has stores that sell clothing, electronics, cosmetics, shoes, stationery, and mobile phones. There’s also a supermarket, a food court, a Burger Star, an ice cream parlor, a Donut King, fried chicken shops, and an excellent liquor section. Something similar to the Taw Win Center, but a little older, and the prices are cheaper.

One of the newest and biggest additions to the shopping scene in Yangon city, it comprises five floors of brand name stores, clothing, electronics, jewelry, furniture, restaurants, a supermarket, game center, 3D Cineplex, promotion and events center, and much more. It is said to have the largest bookstore in Yangon.
