Instead of manufacturing the same rubber products, the company decided to manufacture tyres for bicycles. That was the time when it all started. The company’s profit increased at the time of getting merged with N.V. Rubberfabriek Hevea in Raalte. The company was completely owned by B.F Goodrich and it paved its way to spread its way through 125 more Nations. 

In the year 1970, the company got influenced by globalisation and developed the idea of upgrading their manufacturing products. The company started to manufacture tyres for agricultural, two-wheeler, cars and industrial tyres. Vredestein tyres also collaborated with Giorgetto Giugiaro to design their tyres in the best and attractive way in late 1990. Later on, in 2009, the Vredestein was bought by the Apollo tyres in India, and as a result, its name changed into Apollo Vredestein B.V. The company employs more than 1,800 people all over. Apparently, the company headquarter is based in Enschede. The company announced to produce 700 more job vacancies in the year 2020. The current chairman of Apollo Vredestein is known to be Onkar S.
